Post season honors for Beaver recruits.
INF Trent Caraway has been named Gatorade's POY in California. He had a dynamite year with the bat, setting a JSerra school record with 49 base hits in 33 games. JSerra finished at 24-9, and won 5 straight to capture the Division I CIF Championship for the second year in a row.
RHP Bryce Johnson, Sammamish - Eastlake HS is the top pitcher in the state and led the Wolves to the Class 4A state championship. He went 12-0 on the mound with a 0.37 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 76.1 innings. He is Washington's Player of the Year.
SS Reeve Boyd, Seattle Prep is the 16 Team Seattle Metro League's Co-MVP. The Panthers completed a 15-9 season with 3 Division 1 players, Boyd (Oregon State), Holloway (Michigan State), and Cahill (Washington). Boyd set a school record with 43 base hits and 15 stolen bases in Prep's 24 game season.
Boyd will suit up for the Wenatchee Apple Sox (West Coast Collegiate) after graduation.
