Also Dolly Parton did a sweet rendition of that song in 1970 on the "Porter Wagoner Show"

Why the hell are you guys spending this much time talking about Eugene? When does football start? Yeah... on another thread some have to go on the "only Super that won't sell out", then when it does (and a giant Fan Fair planned for more fans) it's a front runner crowd. Seems some just can't leave Eugene and Ucks alone. Can't say I care one way or another except when the tiny minority makes Beaver Nation seem petty and crying sour grapes... "lucky", "easy regional" etc. Like Oregon had squat to do where they were sent, yet actually won. JFC... some stuff just gets old.

Isn't the reasoning behind promoting a "giant" fan fest usually a means to draw fans who wouldn't otherwise come for the actual event being held? It's the $1.50 hot dogs w/drink at Costco. Brings back memories of Tijuana in the late 80's every time I see "giant" or "huge" used in front of a marketing promotion. Hey, but it can work.

LOL... or simply to show folks more people are welcome to celebrate and to accommodate a larger crowd to watch the game on the big screen, make additional $ with concessions, sell day of game tix that ORU doesn't use. Since it is a sellout not sure how drawing fans that don't usually attend applies?? And, how Costco applies... there is no "sale" going on? And, year, right Tijuana in the late 80's... such an appropriate comparison. But...

Your love of all things Ducky is duly noted. Here's a couple skullcaps you can wear this weekend while cheering for them.
