They were the runner up to Ole Miss last year. "Oh noes" they got in to tournament. (sarcasm) Well, we had no business getting in in 2007.

We're lucky to have someone with the intellect of Wilky producing information for Benny's House members. Not every fan base has a Wilky. Well done Wilky....very well done buddy. You two should get a room together. Complete nonsense. I have a wife..........asshole.

I hate the SEC more than the Ducks, I married one. Also I was more saying it was a nice game. How can you hate a conference we don't compete in more than the asshole University that is our rival. "I don't get this type of thinking." It’s called sleeping with the enemy. ;-)

Big day for the PAC Beavs vs LSU Stanford vs TAM Ducks vs Vandy UW vs Oral Roberts (A win puts them in the driver's seat in Stillwater) AZ vs Santa Clara in elimination I was hoping that Oregon State would be sent to Conway to play Coastal Carolina, the weakest of all of the hosts. Sure enough, Rider took down Coastal Carolina in game one. And Duke benefits. I did not see Oral Roberts upsetting Oklahoma State. Washington just has to beat Oral Roberts to be a game away from playing in a Super Regional against the Nashville Regional winner (Oregon and Vandy in the winners' bracket).

They were the runner up to Ole Miss last year. "Oh noes" they got in to tournament. (sarcasm) Well, we had no business getting in in 2007. Oregon State went 28-3 in "nonconference" play (including a sweep of Georgia in Athens, a 12-4 win over Pac-10 Champion Arizona State in Surprise, and a split with Texas A&M in College Station) and effectively finished fourth in the Pac-10. I would say that the Beavs earned their spot. The Committee often sucks. 2007 was no exception.

In games that matter, Indiana 12 - West Virginia 6. Ball State or Indiana regional win would set up a Corvallis Super Regional with 2/3 more Oregon State wins in Baton Rouge. We're lucky to have someone with the intellect of Wilky producing information for Benny's House members. Not every fan base has a Wilky. Well done Wilky....very well done buddy. In the game that matters this early, it is West Virginia 7 - Ball State 5 in the fourth. If Ball State or Indiana win the Lexington Regional, Oregon State would host a Corvallis Super Regional with a win in the Baton Rouge Regional. In other other news, who is the "home" team in the game with LSU. Coastal Carolina is the "road" team in their game with North Carolina-Wilmington.

We tied for 6th in conference and other than Georgia, we had a cupcake non conference. We had monster non conference series wins over the likes of Evansville, Hawaii Hilo, USF, UNLV etc. We also lost both games to Texas A&M. Not sure where your split is coming from. We won the non conference game against ASU, but they swept us in conference. 10-14 conference record. We only got in because of 2006.

Washington and Wazzu were ineligible to be selected for record and RPI reasons. So, it was California and Oregon State for the fourth and final Pac-10 spot. Oregon State had an RPI of 35. California had an RPI of 66. And Oregon State beat California in their series. Texas A&M beat Oregon State in the first game 5-2, and Oregon State beat Texas A&M in the second game 6-5. I am not sure where your sweep is coming from? Oregon State lost to Gonzaga in Surprise and Saint Mary's in Davis. Those were the other two losses. Texas A&M was the third loss. You fault "cherry picking" and then actually cherry pick by leaving out Missouri. Missouri finished second in the Big 12 in 2007 and hosted the Columbia Regional. Oregon State beat Missouri 9-2 in Surprise. No. You are incorrect.

We beat Missouri one game…it’s not like it was a series. [br We finished 6th in conference. There’s no “effective” conference standings. There was also a lot less reliance on RPI back then. We were lucky to get in.
