will be announced? Is there one to be announced? It seems like it is taking a long time to get a new assistant coach on board.

I haven't seen it officially announced as yet. She played in the Big Sky Conference and coached last season in the Big 10 Conference. People who have interacted with her thus far have been impressed with her energy and attitude. I am sure that an announcement will make the selection official soon. If I see an announcement, I will provide the website link in this forum.

The person behind this particular tweet certainly has those credentials - played at Montana, was grad asst. at Wisconsin last year.
If so, seems like a *great* hire.....probably needs to be OKay'ed by the Board or something.......hopefully doesn't involve the NCAA Clearinghouse, that process has not been kind to OSU in the past :-)
Go Beavs!

Rissmiller was named interim assistant on July 21st. The original choice must have fell through for some reason. Then it opened back up making it necessary to have Rissmiller to fill the position temporarily.

More on the two new assistant coaches is shared in the Portland Tribune article below. Brian Holsinger previously served as an assistant coach at Washington State University. Katie Baker's identity and background has been discussed in several posts above. People in the know have stated that the program has done very well in bringing in two quality leaders to help offset the positive contributions that the departing assistants provided to the program during last season's memorable PAC-12 title and Final Four run. portlandtribune.com/pt/12-sports/327861-207579-new-look-oregon-state-womens-basketball-team-looks-versatile-competitive

Just wondering because that article is the first time I ever heard he was moving to a different position.
