Wake has 3 starters with sub 2.6 ERA's Texas has two starters with sub 2.8 ERAs. Outside of Texas and Wake, what is one team that would not trade us straight up for their Friday and Saturday? First it was one, you already named two. I'll assume you'll just go by ERA or ?? In no particular order, kids from these I've seen briefly or read reports: Vandy, LSU, UTenn, FL, Furd, Iowa, S Carolina, Duke, Bama?, Kentucky? Are just off the top of the head. As staffs they are very good in ERA, H/9 IP, etc. All have 2 or 3 better, more dominate guys. Our staff stats were bolstered quite a bit, for a long stretch by the pen. Certainly not dominate Fri/Sat guys. One can argue that in overall performance, not just what I saw vs OSU, the Beavers don't have the top twosome in the Pac12. Depending on what you want to look at UW, Furd, SC have multiple guys that are starters or started 9 games with better ERAs, less HR given up, etc. So, yes there are many teams that would not trade.

I will give you Stanford for three. Otherwise: Vandy's ace just gave up eight earned in four innings last weekend and got 10-run ruled. Skenes is a beast for LSU, but Flood has had an ERA above five in eight of the previous 10 games. Tennessee's ace has gone five innings exactly four times this year. Dollander has gone five innings three times in his last seven starts. Florida's ace gave up six earned in five innings in his last start. Waldrep has gone five innings once in the past four starts and gave up five earned in the start before that. Iowa's ace has gone 5+ innings five times all season. South Carolina's ace has gone 5+ twice all season! Duke's ace has gone 5+ four times and Duke's Saturday guy has gone 5+ once. I don't like responding to these, but no. Respectfully, you would be an idiot to trade both Sellers and Kmatz for any other pair that you mentioned. You can find better aces. I do not believe that that would be hard, but there are so few teams that would not kill for our terrible 1-2 bunch that this whole conversation is laughable. Oregon State fans complaining about pitching are richers whining that their gold isn't shiny enough.

Oregon State fans complaining about pitching are richers whining that their gold isn't shiny enough. You keep mentioning "complaining". I've not complained I simply refuted your claim (already disproved by your own post) that other teams would trade for our Fri/Sat duo. I'll include Arkansas too. Sellers and Kmatz are maybe the weakest 1,2 in recent memory. Solid, terrific on occasion, and definitely inconsistent. They are "ours", but they are not an elite pair. It's about their stuff, competition, and season long accomplishments. Not the last 4 whatever starts. SEC/ACC guys have faced more Q1 innings and better overall competition and there several programs that have 2,3,4+ highly touted arms. You will not find Sellers or Kmatz on any draft boards (pitchers only) in the top 100 the last glance looked. There are several Pac12 guys there. You made a ridiculous claim in response to your reaction to "bitching about pitching". It's a mountain you can keep scaling, but not worth dying on. Your simply wrong no matter how many times you change the target. We're at 3 now? When your in the 10 team range... You can keep up with the animal cruelty, but they poor thing's had enough from me! 🍻
