Not only for what she did - 2 distance championships in less than 24 hours - but in the absolutely dominating way she did it. I also like the way she completely stole the thunder from the conference championship team, from..somewhere. (Finally, I like that while she's ultra-fit, she doesn't appear emaciated and hollow-eyed like some distance event runners. Refreshingly counter to the disgraced Alberto Salazar's sadistic BMI fixation.) |

I had the opportunity to meet her a few weeks ago, and felt the same. Not some bird-boned freak. She just looked like a very fit athlete. And of course, she and the others were a pleasure to be around. So happy for her.
