Mitchell is entered in the 15 and steeple. Fetherstonhaugh is entered in the steeple and both are entered in the 5000. The 5000 is a few hours after the 1500 and it's a tough double. The steeple is Saturday so GF should be reasonably fresh for the 5000. Those two alone may score near last year's record 38 points. We will score in the throws, jumps, and heptathlon. OSU is finally relevant in track again.

Anneke Moersdort gets PR in 100H at 13.95 and takes over the #5 spot in the Beaver Top-10. This gives her 895 points in the first event of the Heptathlon. High Jump is starting about now.

Adael Scatena sets PR/school record in 400H preliminaries @ 58.62 seconds and qualifies for the finals. It appears 9 runners are in the finals, so she has a good chance of scoring!

Like ag87 implies, Grace and Kaylee each have a full plate this weekend. Also, you can follow "Oregon State Track & Field / Cross Country" on Twitter and get some great updates/announcements - not sure who updates that, but might be Coach Quintana.

2:20 824 800m 5409 points - existing pb. 5558 is yesterday's score added to existing day 2 pb's. Moersdorf continues to do well. She jumped 20-3 for 902 points and threw 112-10 for 560 points. She improved from 6th to 5th place in the javelin, passing a duck. The 800 meters is the last event. Moersdorf is 91 points ahead of Colleen Belotti Uzoekwe (said duck). That's roughly seven seconds. 4th place is out of reach as is 7th. The leader is Ida Eiking from Norway and Washington. She needs 836 points, 2:19, to break Brianne Theisen's meet record. OSU's school record is in play. Moersdorf needs an about 2:18.5 800m to score the needed 842 points.

That's a new school record of 5618 in the hept and 5th place at the Pac-12's. The old record was 5592 by Sonya Harrigfeld Crowther in 1982 (also at Mt.Sac). I don't follow this anymore but Eiking was horrible in the 800 (is that normal?) and lost to Allie Jones of USC.

Looks like Anneke didn't participate in Long Jump since she just finished running the heptathlon 800m. Can't blame her after that performance! No points in the Shot Put, Hammer, or Long Jump (probably). 3000 SC coming up! Gotta hope for some big points there. No pressure or anything on Kaylee or Grace But seriously, they've done some great things in their careers here at Oregon State University!
