Not much of a loss, especially with how Blacklock and (and somewhat)Marotte played at the end of the season.

She'll set an NCAA record by playing for her 5th school! Good chance that will never be broken. She never actually played at Syracuse. I don't remember if she even went to school there. Coach left so she transferred out before playing. |

As the season went along Lex's minutes shrank. To be honest I'm surprised that she hadn't transferred already. But it does leave Timea without an important backup.
Having interacted with her on a couple of occasions I will miss her on the team. Very nice person.

Just guessing here, but this might be an indication that Rueck is bringing in someone who looks good enough to take Lex's floor time...
She saw it coming, or was told it was coming. She put 2 and 2 together, and....
Or maybe she just likes to school-shop.

I really liked Aaron, though I don't blame either Rueck or her for this decision. She wants to play more, which I get.

It sounds like she has her degree already, so maybe she has an idea of getting her Master's at a specific school? Not many play pro ball, so that advanced degree would be worth a lot in the future for her.
I think she could have contributed a lot to the program this next season with a year under her belt. Wherever she goes, I wish her the very best!

From what I recall the women have 15 scholarships per team while the men have only 13. Unless it has changed recently |

My choice to replace Shalexxus as a backup at the 3/4 spot would be Idaho's Beyonce Bea. She can't shoot the 3 the way Shalexxus can, but she can score and although only 6'1", she plays big. I see absolutely no social media hints that would even show the Beavs and Beyonce have any mutual interest. Besides that, chances are Bea wants to go somewhere that will give her more minutes than the Beavs.
