I just rewound that ending and watched it 10 times over and over. That's one of the best celebrations of joy I've seen from a Beavs team this whole year. Watching the team storm the field to celebrate...
I dragged my 14 year-old daughter, who frankly doesn't know the difference between a baseball and a football, out into the living room and made her watch it, too, so she could understand why I love sports...and even she got it.
I want more beer. I'm gonna have whiskey now, too.

I broke out the whiskey, too. Beavs brought me some joy tonight so I'll celebrate.

Yea, that was frickin sweeeet! The neighbors had to hear my son and I yelling!
I'd like to thank the zona 3rd baseman.....he made two critical mental errors on the grounder by Kane.....he should've touched 3rd and threw home.....and then he didn't have his foot on the bag when the catcher threw back to him.

Not touching third is forgivable,I think, if he had received the throw from the catcher more like a first baseman. The throw beat the runner. He just tried to apply a tag instead of getting the force. He’s kicking himself today.

It’s really great having a fresh hot bat come off the bench. So happy for Peterson that he could step up and perform! Kid has guts.

If Kyle goes full Mendoza again atleast we have an additional option. He was a decent defensive player in high school (#2 in WA at SS).

He's inconsistent, if he goes crap at the plate again then it's nice there is another option that is playing well. There is no solution to the catchers right now. TJ Wheeler and Easton Talt are the only guys listed as alternates and neither of them have hit well this season either. Only thing to do is let the catchers play and hope they improve. Weber is trending up slowly.

Yep agreed on all that...Bill Rowe mentioned the way he received the ball at the bag....sidenote, Rowe is a pleasure to listen to in the booth.....lots of knowledge of the game. I think Bullard panicked a little and brain farted.....he touches his base and throws home, one throw instead of two, and would've been an easy DP......unless the catcher dropped the ball on the tag or something.....the fact that he tried to tag the runner on a force shows that he must've just kind of blanked out.....I almost feel bad for him....almost.

He is a solid shortstop, which becomes even more critical as we edge closer to the playoff and regionals.
