With next year's roster filling with hot wings, shooters, two-way mobile players might the Beavers evolve to a 21st century sped up game? I, for one, anticipate it. Push the rock Beavs!

Not if Talia continues to be a focal point of the offense and as well as post first in the half court.
This team will reach it's potential when Reagan leads the team in assists. Think Jokic. Less back to the basket post ups and more high post splits, pistol and fist actions to keep the ball moving. Play through her without clogging up the paint so Timea and AJ can be drive threats. Add two shooters in there and you have a deadly lineup. Raegan, Timea, and AJ being free to play like we know they can could be scary but I'm not sure Rueck is willing to reduce Talia's role to a utility player.

I've coached my daughter and her team in school ball, AAU, etc since 4th grade (I think I'm retired now that she is approaching high school). My favorite thing to yell from the sidelines over the years is likely "Run!" or "Go-go-go!" after a defensive rebound. Scoring in transition is way easier for young girls than attempting to set up a play or half-court offense. I admire Rueck but I've found myself yelling those same words at the TV constantly over the last few years while watching the Beavers women.

Craig Robinson's favorite thing was yelling "move" all the time and was a DI coach. Maybe you have a future. |
