We get that you don't have much humor in your posts and generally thrive on just disparaging posters. But, many do and will have fun here. But, from the OP's "history" sarcasm and humor are prevalent. |

Because he’s a road hog. I do TO have a sense of humor! Hmmmm... my farm/Ag knowledge isn't what it used to be, but it depends on the weight of the swine! A pig is a pig until it's a hog. So, unless the pig gained weight while crossing, it'd still be a "road pig"!  |

It's difficult to take advantage of a three on two when you need to ask the coach what play to run. Just watched an interview with Isaiah Thomas. He said he didn't really learn how to run the point until he got to the NBA. Coach Knight called ALL of the plays. Hmm, 12 time all-star, NBA champ, NBA HOF, one of the 50 greatest of all time and he had the coach call his plays in college. What??!! |

I am not an AJ critic. I love the way she runs the floor. She is my favorite player actually. However what I saw in the player from Czech Rep. is the offensive skills that AJ is inconsistent regularly. Something like 17 points in the first half vs Az I believe, and disappeared in the second half. 0 points. If she didn’t disappear regularly on offense I think there is some excellent similarities. I am glad she is staying and didn’t mean to imply she was leaving. I simply meant this new gal could take a lot of her playing time. Go Beavs

Go Beavs I actually just watched that Arizona game again last night. AJ took a couple shots that just weren't falling in the second half, but if you watched the interview at halftime, you know Adia Barnes also noticed AJ in the first half and had the team keep an eye on her in the second half. In another thread, there are some post that weren't that high on Dom. I lean the other direction. Although I don't think she will take much in the way of minutes from AJ as a freshman, I do think that in her upper-class years, Dom will be a very good player for the Beavs if she sticks around. I would expect 10+ppg and 6+rpg, but not as a freshman. The Beavs have a number of good players on the rise. Dom's play reminds me a bit of Mik, although unlikely she ever reaches that level. There aren't many players who are as good as Mik. As for AJ, there is so much athleticism there! She's great with that mid-range shot. If she ever learns to drive all the way to the basket, hit a higher percentage from three, and use her length defensively, she could be a star. Not asking much am I?  She's very good at driving into the center and hitting that short to mid-range shot. If she can expand on that, lookout! |

And Bobby Knight could never coach in today’s game. |

Thanks for sharing, beaverwbb. From what it looks I'm guessing, she probably won't be seeing a lot of action, but a great honor just to make the team. She's the youngest player on the team, so that's pretty cool. Best of luck to her. I didn't check how long the tournament runs, so I'm not sure if this will delay her arrival to Corvallis. I'm guessing she will be coming to Corvallis soon, but I wonder if there is a chance she waits and joins the team in Italy. |
