I really like what I see from the videos. Very good first step, like Sasha GoForth. Loves to get to the hoop. Follows her shot. Solid mid-range & not afraid to shoot the 3. Likes to rebound, and best of all, runs the court very well. I like her size. I can see her playing 1-4, as she has good handles too. Great JOB coaches. I agree lotrader....from everything I've seen on her this girl is a top notch well-rounded talent with enough speed and quickness to fit right in at the D1 Pac-12 level. I don't know if she is a ranked recruit being an international player but from what I've seen I would put her in the top 25 in this class. This is a great get for our team and I would expect her to get a lot of minutes this coming season as a freshman. I particularly like how quickly she pushes the ball up the floor after getting a defensive rebound and beats many of the the defenders down the floor for some easy hoops. I haven't this type of play since we had Destiny and Mik Pivek playing for us----both Destiny and Mik were great at pushing the ball up the floor quickly and getting us into our offense before the defense was set. I'm really looking forward to seeing her play this upcoming season!

Our two incoming freshmen, Kennedie & Donovyn are very fast and push the ball upcourt quickly. They also have great court vision. With this freshman class, our team speed has been dialed up.

As someone pointed out, we have no idea how well she defends, I found this 2022 U20 championship, maybe it will help, she comes into the game at 17:50, #3 in white:

greybeav, thanks for sharing. There is a lot to like about Dom. She plays solid 1v1 defense, and does a great job of switching on D. DP also moves well without the ball. DP has a lot to improve on as well, but a solid talent, and one who I think will fit well into OSU's system.

Watched part of the game above. I could be wrong, but I'm not seeing how this recruit is a difference maker. Looks like a role player to me. Without an outside game she is going to get ate up by D1 defenses. I trust that Rueck thinks she can play at this level, but I'm not sure she moves the needle for this team.
Also, can we recruit the Czech PG? #1 is lightning quick, has good handles (although very right hand dependent), and aggressively breaks down her defender and either tries to get to the hoop, or kicks it to an open player. She looks like she would fill a real need on this team.

She looks like she would fill a real need on this team. Mainly because some here want her to be. Other than depth she's going to have her ups and downs like all frosh coming from FIBA type ball to the level of D1/Pac12 play. She is not an elite FIBA talent, but has some skills vs being a "project'. But, overall it is not about the individual player, but the overall state of recruiting incoming talent. It is not complete by any means but, OSU simply has not made a dent in making strides toward a top 5-6 Pac12 team. The ever mentioned supposed improvement of players will happen conference wide. You can't predict and do not want injuries to happen, but unless some do to key teams, IMHO the much too early prediction for OSU WBB is currently in the 7-10 range. As of now (5) teams have top twenty classes (last time I peeked and it is always changing!):Zona #3 with the #8, #14, #21 rated players... plus I believe Gilbert & Martinez stayed + added (3) other for depth Furd #7 with the #10, #37, #39 rated players.... and a solid returning roster despite key losses SC #10 with the #1, #49 rated players... added Onu from UCLA UW #16 with the #28, #46, #93 rated players... plus a well thought of 6'6" C... have not seen in transfer in Ore #18 with the #26, #46, #66 rated players... Others:UCLA added the #32 rated player and Betts to a very good lineup Utah added two frosh outside the top 100, plus Blanck (BYU) and Wilke (Wisc) Colo added #75 and #78 rated players... plus (3) other big guards... and a walk on in the portal WSU added the #68 rated player... and (2) other bigs (6'3", 6'6")... have not seen any portal action In many ways that is (9) teams that finished ahead of OSU, with better recruiting up to this point and solid if not good returning rosters. Only ASU and Cal seem to be significantly below OSU in terms of returning roster and recruiting/portal. IMHO it'll take a LOT for this OSU squad to jump up in the standings any significant amount this coming season. The Pac12 is significantly deep and only getting better!!

Or...some would say returning an all pac 12 post, the regained health of someone who played on one leg at almost a pac 12 level, another post/wing who was a top ten recruit with a full season as a team, a core with 7-8 players who have worked together for 18 months is something no one else has in the pac 12. We never had, by the numbers, great recruiting classes until after we won those 3 pac 12 titles. Give us health and continuity, I say we shock some people.

They just rolled out the ball and let em play. What I observed is that Dom played solid defense, both 1v1, and team defense. I also observed that Dom moved very well without the ball, flashing across the key and constantly working to get open. Unfortunately, most of the Czech players rarely found her on a cut. Dom was also the only Czech player I saw attempting to set screens. Dom clearly needs to work on her offensive ball handling, outside shooting, free throw shooting, and to some extent her decision making. I don't see a project, I see a young basketball player that can definitely grow in the OSU system. She has good size for a guard, and already has some skills that OSU can build upon. If she comes to OSU with a great attitude, Dom can be an early contributor.

I could be dead wrong about Domi as a player, and there is a lot to like about her athleticism. If she can back up TVO that would be a big help, but I agree she has a lot to work on. Fair point that this game wasn't probably the best showcase of her talents. Now, can we find a true, spark-plug PG to make this team really hum? That's what I'm hoping for!

Just found that Dominika played summer ball for Lady Phoenix Elite, so in addition to her national team ball, etc. etc. she is a busy girl. Here is a game from a year & 1/2 ago, she is #3 in the dark uniforms, be sure to hit "show more" in the description. Very early you see her block and steal the ball then run the court and score.

Nice to see her get mentioned, they did forget to say "playing this fall for OSU WBB". Now I see why she isn't on campus, yet another tournament, this one against players her age versus the previous one, EuroBasket, where she was the 2nd youngest in the tournament, playing with the Czech senior team. It shows these games will be on FIBA's Youtube channel, so free to watch her and the USA team, who has won 8 of the last 9 of these tournaments. www.fiba.basketball/world/u19women/2023/news/player-power-rankings-for-u19-wwc-in-madrid-20-11
