Sure hope we didn’t lose Hunter for the year. Really like the bullpen depth for a run in the playoffs. The multiple arms that are available for any and all situations out of the bullpen are terrific. Nice to watch a game and not get nervous when a new OSU pitcher arrives on the mound, either mid-inning or to begin one. Hoping that the caution shown re: Hunter increases the chances he'll be available in May/June. On another topic: Cedillo was just 1 for 4 today, but he struck the ball very well - including two deep fly balls (on a cool moist day) that both resulted in outs.

Symptomatic "Tightness" in the forearm is the chief complaint of a UCL problem.
Jaren's injury has not been located specifically or identified, and probably won't be initially.
Jaren is a Junior and a TJ surgery would likely curtail any further pitching until the 2024 season.
We keep good thoughts and our fingers crossed on that one.

When Hunter missed time was it because of his elbow? He came out today due to elbow/forearm tightness, correct? Not a good sign.
Mundt should be back any time now, right?

Typical rehabilitation time for someone his age is 15 months.

Hey all you medical professionals that are so good that you can diagnose off the tv: Maybe wait for an actual doctor that examines him to chime in?

This kid, Macius….. has a chance to be an OSU great. I like his approach at the plate, and obviously, his defense. We’re LUCKY Colorado doesn’t field a baseball team.

He needs to cut down on the Ks and become more of a contact hitter, especially with two strikes. He can run. Put the ball in play. But at least he's not letting his O woes impact his defense.

It just seems like diagnosing from television based on the look on his face is pretty speculative. I for one hope you're wrong!

Sure hope we didn’t lose Hunter for the year. Really like the bullpen depth for a run in the playoffs. While I don't want to see anyone hurt, especially our pitchers. He was already on limited pitches and would only go 2-3 innings max. So it really isn't a huge loss when you look at how much he brings over an entire series. I just hope it doesn't set him backwards. He was cleared for 50 pitches. Would hate for him to go back to 35.

That would firm up our starting rotation until we hit the Pac 12 Tournament. Beyond that point, if we make a regional, we will need another starting arm. Not sure we have it at this point. "Stay tuned " it's going to be an interesting finish.

I wouldn't be shocked to see a freshman step up. Jimenez has looked really strong. And Ian Lawson has looked good. Thorsteinson has also been solid in limited innings.
