She's not a coach and never has been listed as one. It would put Duke over the limit of Assistant Coaches if she was listed as a coach. She's "Director of Recruiting and Player Development" (see Staff Directory).

But she would be a really good hire. Particularly to work with those young guards. Her and Talia had a great relationship as well. |

I can't read hoopheritic's mind, but I'm guessing they thought Aleah may not be with the team. Whatever hoopheritic actually meant, Duke is down one assistant coach as one of their assistants, Winston Gandy, moved on to South Carolina's staff this month. That may give Aleah a shot at becoming an official assistant coach for Duke. It will be an interesting development to watch.

OSU WBB doesn't need an inexperienced former player in this coaching role. They need as big time, experienced recruiter with connections as they can land. Plus, hopefully (big ask I know) someone SR respects enough to actually listen to at times.

Who did you have in mind. This is to please the fan base and get butts in the seats. Goodman can do that and Scott can do the rest. I am sure he respects Coach Goodman and her thoughts on the game. |

He gave her a green light to change any play he called, that is how much he respects her. There was only one other player with that freedom that I know of. |
