As is we need more reason to be fired up D1 baseball left us out of the field in the midseason 64, and has Oregon hosting a regional......let's blow the s%#t up!!! College Baseball Nation has Oregon State in the field............as a three seed...............in Fayetteville. That regional is: 1. Arkansas 2. TCU 3. Oregon State 4. Maine
How many times do you see that Fayetteville Triangle dropped foul ball, during that Regional? Someone was guessing about two thousand times.
Also, TCU beat Arkansas 18-6 already this year at Arlington.

It’s raining in rain town and will be raining all night. MB’s famous quote “it never rains in Eugene”
Will the game still be on?

I believe that both publications believe that Oregon has done more on the year. The Ducks are 19-7 against the nation's third most difficult schedule, and the Beavs are 18-10 against the nation's 107th most difficult schedule. Oregon has a non-conference SOS of 6, and Oregon State has a non-conference SOS of 250. Cal Poly, Coppin State, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, and Seattle are really weighing down the RPI and will probably only get worse moving forward. It is one thing, if Oregon State had swept all of those teams, but the 10-3 record is what is killing us right now.

and not a DH on Saturday The series will now open Friday night at 7 p.m. Game two is slated for 3 p.m. Saturday and the series finale is now Sunday at noon. Looks like the Beavers will have to ride the bus back on Easter Sunday like Stanford did. Only driving through Monroe is different than Siskiyou Pass.

It is one thing, if Oregon State had swept all of those teams, but the 10-3 record is what is killing us right now. NW st, Xavier, San Diego, UCSB.....how is that #6? RPI is terrible? Oregon's opponents' RPI: 34, 34, 34, 34, 24, 24, 24, 84, 84, 84, 84, 128, 135, 135, 135, 135, and 96. Oregon State's opponents' RPI: 213, 225, 213, 24, 280, 280, 280, 189, 189, 189, 84, 155, 155, 96, and 185. Average opponents' RPI: Oregon 78 Oregon State 184 Average uncommon opponents' RPI: Oregon 73
Oregon State 213 RPI is terrible, but Oregon has gamed it well so far this year. Oregon State goofily played New Mexico twice, instead of UCSB. The Beavers also stupidly played Coppin State and Cal Poly thrice each and Nevada twice. And to add insult to injury, Oregon State lost to New Mexico, Cal Poly, and Nevada. Oregon plays San Francisco after Oregon State, which will tank the Ducks' RPI after this weekend. But, as of this moment, Oregon's non-conference SOS is 6. It is what it is.

Thanks for the leg work......still seems crazy that holes schedule equals that high SOS ranking and RPI......let's knock em down a peg or two! FTd!!!
