Wheeler having trouble making contact.
On a completely different note, this UW pitcher is kind of guy that would be fun to "rough up."

No, that was poor execution. Putting Krieg in with a one run lead was the poor choice......try to keep up judge So Krieg is not capable of throwing strikes? Or, was it just poor execution? I forgot how many D1 hindsight coaches we have on this board. Kind of like the posters that never want Ferrer to pitch again after the Stanford series. Seems like a bad time to see what Krieg has...dude has what? Two innings on the hill so far? It's not a stretch to question the move

Oh Bazzana......why dude? Thinks he’s a kangaroo….can’t take 2 bases on a wild pitch.

Oh Bazzana......why dude? His aggressiveness can be so fun and sometimes hurts. I'd rather have him be aggressive but a couple of baserunning blunders this year. Darn it

That would only work at Stanford with their deep backstop. Everywhere else, nah. Bazzana has too much love to run.

Jimenez and Keljo didn't pitch yesterday Mejia and Hutch barely did Brown can go an inning I get it, but count me in for Krieg being the 4th to 6th choice period. Let alone with a 1 run lead... It was the perfect gamble. Still early enough in the game to recover, but a point where an inning of work means a lot.

Bizarre choices by Coaches this week when trying to win games.... And since they're 3-0 this week before today, the right choices too.

Yea that's all I'm saying. It's obviously a high pressure situation relative to what Krieg has done on the mound at this level.....which is next to nothing. Thats not "hindsight, couch" coaching......it is what it is. They gambled that Krieg could maybe eat up an inning or two. It didn't work out. Is he not ready yet, or did he just not execute? Like I said, Im not gonna question coaching decisions much, but that one was a head scratcher to me...that's all. But as soon as ANY questioning of ANY coaching decision happens, gotta have the Coach police come swooping in.......and this is NOTHING like questioning whether Ferrer should pitch again.....that's just dumb!
