who watched/watches practice says he is.
Nick is a great kid, but you're seeing why he was so far down the depth chart.
Still love my Beavs.

Yeah, his throwing motion looks awkward. His running skills are just ok..

Garretson has played D-I ball, none of the QB's on roster in the spring have.

Garretson has played D-I ball, none of the QB's on roster in the spring have. Garretson might be the best of the bunch, but relying on a guy who couldn't win the job outright at Utah State gives me reason for pause.

When Keeton was granted a medical redshirt year he decided to transfer and reportedly wanted to go to Washington, but Utah State blocked his transfer there.

I'm hoping Mason Moran will be a good one. Looking at his HS vids, he runs that spread pretty well. Other teams wanted him. 3*. Seems like a good kid. Let's see what he can do.

I think he is better than a 3*. The kid is in the running for national player of the year. He is 4* talent. However, he needs to redshirt next year and let Garretson, or whomever beats him out run the offense and have him learn. Then, be the backup his redshirt freshman year getting some spot duty and then ready to take over his third year into the program. If he is the starter next season as a true freshman, the Beavs will not be much more successful than they are this year.

True, OB. True. The Beavs won't be good next year, either. Moran is a solid QB recruit. At QB, slowly work him....kinda like his experience in HS.
Let, VanderVeen lead the Beavs next year, instead! Haha.........No, seriously.
At this time, the team such a dumpster fire. VanderVeen could probably do better than the current QBs, but, now, he's a TE. Wow.
The only positives are the verbals this year. CGA needs to sell the process to a couple more 4* kids and a boatload of 3* kids. Get this class ranked in the top 50! I'm sure Andersen can do that. Then, next year, maybe low 40s.
