The NIT is a big, big deal for Utah Valley. It's not for Oregon. Not justifying their pitiful attendance, however. Vegas is gonna be full of UVS fans. |

Oh you’re exactly correct. But for a program who has fans that talk soooo big and just had to have a fancy new arena, you’d think they could make any postseason game there a bigger deal

Many, many long time fans lived for games at The Pit. They and students loved that place. It was a terrible place for opponents and their fans. But, doesn't matter to me I don't attend any home games for that school. |

If this game had been during regular season, it would have drawn more. The only people who care about the NIT are smaller schools or larger ones that haven’t had much recent success. Oregon isn’t supposed to end up in the NIT two years in a row. Given that, it would be pretty funny if Mullens went to Dana and said, “we’d like to take you up on your offer. Given what you said, I’m certain you’ll be happy to fore go your buyout.

Utah Valley got to host due to Cincinnati doing scheduled maintenance on their court. I guess they didn't get the message from the Michigan baseball program about scheduling maintenance to your facility after the regular season ends. But Utah Valley didn't disappoint when they learned their next game was going to be nationally televised. Even the university president was rocking a couple of pom-poms behind the team bench. As for o and their dismal showing at basketball games. I remember back when I was doing an internship in Eugene, eating dinner at the 5th Street Market, I was chatting with a local and she told me the people there only cared about football and that's it. I guess nothing has really changed after all these years. |

It’s definitely the football only front runner duckies that are the most obnoxious and most common of their “fans” |
