In November of 2022, 17 players in the recruiting class of 2023 signed their LOI's committing them to the OSU baseball program. The late addition of Chase Reynolds bumped the number to 18 payers (12 have pitched). My guess would be that 11 or 12 will be part of the scholarship group with the remainder walking on. I am of the notion that the 2023 class will be the the front end of a 3 year recruiting Bonanza for the Beavers. the 2023-'24 and '25 classes as currently constructed, are going to bring the foundation of some outstanding baseball to Goss Stadium. Of course the MLB Amateur Draft can destroy the best of dreams over 3 days every summer. Prep Baseball Report has four Beaver recruits ranked in their National Top-100. That is high acclaim for any college program not playing in the SEC. Last year only Gavin Turley and Tyler Gough were ranked on the National Top-100, Turley signed with OSU and Gough signed with the Seattle Mariners. 2023 OSU recruits in PBR's National Top-100:Number 22 - Trent Caraway (SS-RHP) Number 31 - Paul Miller (LHP) Number 82 - James DeCremer III (RHP) Number 88 - Eric Segura (RHP) 2023 OSU recruits in the PBR National Top-500Number 152 - Carson McEntire (OF) Number 324 - Bryce Johnson (RHP) Number 383 - Evan Gustafson (C) Number 487 - Drew Tavlav (RHP) Number 495 - Levi Jones (3B)
