March 21, 1947 Oklahoma 56 - Oregon State 54 The Beavers' first trip to the Elite Eight in Kansas City. 12 minutes in, the Sooners are up 14. Oregon State scored nine points in a two minute period to tie the game at 46 with seven minutes left. Oklahoma outscored Oregon State 10-8 over the final seven minutes for the win. The Beavers missed nine free throws in the game. Oregon State's Lew Beck scored 20, which led all scorers in both the Oklahoma-Oregon State and Texas-Wyoming games in Kansas City. Beck joined the Phillips 66ers after the 1946-47 Beaver season and was the third-leading scorer among the guards on the 1948 Oregon State Gold Medal Olympic team. All of the basketball games were played at Wembley in 1948.

New Orleans had the second-highest shooting percentage in the country heading in. Ralph Miller ran a zone in the first 10 minutes, and Oregon State jumped out to a 24-6 lead. The Beavers coasted from there, winning 88-71. The win gave Oregon State 20 wins for the fourth consecutive season, a Beaver record. Oregon State would ultimately post six consecutive 20-win seasons. The Beavers have only had five since (most recently two years ago).
March 21, 2012 Washington State 72 - OREGON STATE 55 With snow falling outside, only 2,190 fans made it to the game. Wazzu had swept the two regular season meetings. The Cougars' second win was a part of the Beavers season-long five-game losing streak. Oregon State rebounded to sweep the Mountain Schools in Corvallis. With a little momentum, the Beavers beat the Cougs and Huskies in consecutive games, which was Oregon State's best showing at the Pac-10/12 Tournament since 1988 and would remain the Beavers' best showing at the Pac-12 Tournament until 2021. 2011-12 Oregon State was the highest-scoring Beaver team of all time. The Beavers entered having shot 65% against Western Illinois and TCU in the first two CBI games. Ahmad Starks missed the game with an undisclosed illness. Eric Moreland had a double-double and a block to set the all-time block record at the time. Wazzu led 19-17 with 6:30 left in the first half but stretched it to 10 by halftime. Oregon State would get no closer than nine the rest of the way in a 72-55 loss. The Beavers had seven steals in the game to set the all-time Oregon State record. Jared Cunningham had two steals to finish with 91, tying Lester Conner and GP1 for second all-time in a single season. After the game, Craig Robinson predicted that Oregon State would be competing at the top of the Pac-12 the following year. Instead, Cunningham declared for the NBA Draft, and Oregon State finished dead last. Moreland declared the next year, and Starks transferred to Illinois setting up the beginning of the end of the Robinson Era.

With 3:53 left, Lucas hit a basket, was fouled, and hit his free throw to put Oregon State up 38-22. Roman Silva hit two free throws to put the Beavers up 40-22, Oregon State's biggest lead. The Cowboys began to whittle away, but the Beavers still led 44-30 at the half, the most points that Oklahoma State had allowed in the first half in 2020-21. The Beavers and Cowboys traded scores for the first 2:30 of the second half. But Cade Cunningham started to heat up, hitting two three pointers to around a Warith Alatishe layup and two free throws by Avery Anderson III to pull Oklahoma State to within eight at 50-42. The Cowboys would score the next three to pull within five with 13:48 left. Tariq Silver hit two buckets but that was it over the next 3:42, as Oklahoma State scored 10 (finishing with a Cunningham jumper) to pull within two with 11:06 left. The Beavers outscored the Cowboys 12-3 over the next six minutes to go up 11 with 5:08 left. Oregon State still led 70-61 with 4:04 left, but Boone hit a three, Cunningham stole the ball from Thompson, and hit a second three to pull within three with 3:39 left. Thompson scored the next six, and Lucas the next two to go back up 11 with 29 seconds left. Thompson then fouled Cunningham on a three-pointer, and Cunningham hit all three to pull within eight, but Thompson hit two free throws to ice it with 23 seconds left. Ethan Thompson scored 26, the most points that he had scored in more than three months. Thompson's 26 was two more than the 24 that Cade Cunningham put up. Cunningham was subsequently picked first overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. Maurice Calloo, the Cowboy transfer, scored 15 points, all in the first half.
