Some great performances today at the Invitational. Seems like the coach always keeps most of the "big guns" out of the early meets; there's probably a good reason for that. Didn't see Grace F, Kaylee M, Kate Sorenson, Olivia Johnson, Lizzie Hatton. uo didn't have their "big guns" competing either.
Jade Whitfield sets new school record in the Discus
- 182' 9"
- beat her previous record by 14 ft !
- Jade sure put in a lot of off-season work
Adael Scatena 1st place in the 400m
- 55.31
- OSU #3 all-time
- Just passes Shavon Dennis' and Rosie Williams' 1982 and 1988 mark respectively
Keely McLaughlin and Taylor Crockem take 1st and 2nd place in Shot Put
- 48' 0" and 47' 11.75" respectively
Eimy Martinez took 1st place in the 3000m
- 9:48.65
- OSU #6 all-time
Jada Hurley 1st place in the 100m
- 12.19s
Anneke Moersdorf 2nd place in the 100 hurdles
- 14.31s
Dede Norman 2nd place in the High Jump
- 5' 8.75"
- Freshman!
