How about earlier today when a Virginia player made a bone-headed decision to blindly throw the ball back towards the center of the court after being trapped near the sideline (and still having a time-out he could have used) as the clock was winding down ... it got picked off by Furman who quickly scored a 3 pointer to go ahead and ended up giving the 13 seed Paladins the victory over the 4 seed Cavaliers and the Paladins first NCAA tournament win since 1974:
After Arkansas beat Illinois there is only a miniscule amount of perfect brackets left according to this stat (hard to believe there are even any):

And if anyone's bracket still isn't in a smoldering pile of ashes 16 seed Fairleigh Dickinson just shocked 1 seed Purdue:
Just randomly skimmed the Virginia message board and their fans are feeling a bit better after yesterday's game now that they are not the only 1 seed to lose to a 16 seed lol
Also saw this that Purdue hasn't had the best of luck recently in the tourney anyways so there's that:

Only one Elite Eight back in 2019. In fact, Purdue has only been to one Elite Eight, since after 20th century became the 21st. In their past 10 Tournament appearances, the Boilermakers have lost to two #1 seeds, a #2, a #3, a #8, a #11, a #12, a #13, a #15, and a #16. Tough to be a Purdue fan come Tourney time. My in-laws are huge Purdue fans. And Purdue is one of my two favorite Big Ten teams, so this one kind of sucks.

Sucks to be a Purdue fan right now.
You know what also sucks? Being a Pac 12 fan right now. The Pac is 2-3 to this point, and one of the wins includes a play-in game. UCLA is our sole surviving team and is leaving the conference after next year--as is USC, who lost their opening round game. Arizona as our mighty #2 seed just lost it's opening round game against a #15 seed for the second time in it's history --the only school in Division I to have ever done so. That's going to be our power program in the future. The remaining nine teams? Who cares?
Edit: P.S.--The WCC has more teams in the round of 32 than the Pac 12.
The Pac sucks in basketball, easily the worst of the Power 5. And in football, the Pac doesn't send teams to the playoffs and more often than not the Pac's conference winner loses the Rose Bowl, usually when playing against the second-best team in the Big 10.
No wonder that media companies don't consider the conference a diamond property.

If you are an ACC fan, you do have three teams in the round of 32 - MiamiFL, Duke and Pitt. But you also have five teams that are in the OregonState/Cal universe for quality - BostonCollege, FloridaState, GeorgiaTech, NotreDame and Louisville. Anyway, the ACC ranks behind the PAC (and the MountainWest).

I would love to see SDSU in the Pac.
