That guy is just as bad. He just brought up every negative moment from the best four year run in his school's history. I don't know what his issue with Chip Kelly is, but damn dude, let it go! They lost 7 games in four years under Chip Kelly. One was a national championship game. Another was a Rose Bowl. In that time, they lost exactly one game to a team that wasn't ranked, and that was to a team featuring Andrew Luck, Toby Gerhart, Stepfan Taylor, Doug Baldwin, Coby Fleener, Richard Sherman and Shayne Skov that was coached by the Khaki God himself. If he wants to complain about the off field indiscretions, then I get it...but there was no mention of Willie Lyles or "We Smoked it All" or Masoli stealing laptops or LaMichael James pleading guilty to physical harrassment or literally ANYTHING THAT YOU SHOULD BE UPSET ABOUT AS A FAN.
Every fan base has the people that will never be happy. Hell, I'm probably one of them. But I'm not firing off open letters calling everyone who says I need to blindly follow Gary Andersen into the pits of Hell because "he's our coach, damnit" an idiot. That's a valid opinion. I disagree with it, but that doesn't give me the right to call anyone an idiot or say "you suck."
And, I can't believe I'm saying this, but the author's twitter feed says he's a first grade teacher. HOLY CRAP.

Hey man, if I had to teach 30 1st graders, I'd probably be drinking heavily right now. You've got a great memory - Shayne Skov - I really liked him, felt like he was in on every single tackle.
it is interesting how many self-proclaimed diehard duck fans I come across who can't name more than 2 ducks, yet are ready to fire MH any time they punt, or because they aren't winning by 80. Could be a rough weekend ahead for that subset of "fans".

That School Down The Road. UO. Did you think, I should post this in the Rotating Tap because it has nothing to do with Oregon State football and the Rotating Tap forum clearly states TSDTR content...BUT...because other people misplaced their threads, I should too? The Kaepernick thread was left in the football forum because the original post made mention of Johnny Hecker (former OSU punter). I didn't know which way it was going, but it's moved now. Happy? My bad on the stadium thread, I actually have to work sometimes. Again, it's been moved. Alrighty then? |

lol. Yeah, ...actually I am kind of happy.
My bad - I didn't notice TSDTR on the sub-list for rotating tap, I usually don't go to the forum list page. But point taken, won't happen again.
