It's really uncomfortable holding my breath this long. Are you still with us, should we call someone? this is taking longer than expected. I found that holding your breath while eating ice cream really ruins the experience, so I had to stop (sigh).

Ice Cream is a life saver! Glad to know you are no longer holding your breath. Perhaps you can wait with bated breath instead.

Just a few notes as we wait, and wait, and wait, to see if there are more additions.
The Beavs lost 4 starters (Bendu, Mit, Aaron, Noelle) that totaled 104 starts for the Beavs last season. The Beavs return only a total of 51 starts. Normally, that would be considered a good sized negative, but this one comes with many positives. The Beavs 7 returners (51 starts) total 1371 points, compared to only 705 points from the four former starters/non-returners. The Beavs four non-returners averaged just under 6 points each per game. The top four returning scorers based on per game average (Beers, TVO, Timea, and AJ) averaged a combined 10.6 points per game. The average for the 7 returners was 7.7ppg compared to just under 6ppg for the four not-returners. The four non-returners, all who started most of the season for the Beavs averaged 176.5 points each on the year. The four returners who scored the most points for the Beavs (Raegan, TVO, AJ, and Adlee) averaged 276.5 points each on the season.
Total minutes played for the four players who have moved along were 2801, compared to 3449 minutes played for the returning 7 from last season. All seven returners started at least one game, and 290 minutes were the least played by any single returning player. The top 4 returners in minutes played (Beers, TVO, AJ, Adlee) averaged 634.5 minutes on the season compared to 700.25 from the four starters lost.

Do you have your AI machine working on OSU WBB stats again?? 😇
If so, please ask it about "Leaps," "Kolbie leaps," and "get a helluva lot better leaps"...Then input "AJ," "Timea," and "assorted unknowns from portal." GO BEAVS!!
P.S. Thanks for the info rmancarl.🏀

Maybe we could “scale” down the rhetoric!

Now you've peaked my interest in looking at it again. Perhaps I can share some of that tonight or tomorrow. The thing is, most players show definite statistical improvement throughout their career, but there are others that come in and whether they contribute or not as freshman, their stats throughout their career don't change that much. Part of this is the product of the team as a whole. Someone like Deven Hunter came in and contributed as a freshman and had solid stats all 4 years, but her senior season stats were down a bit. I don't take this as lack of development, or an off year. Rather I consider it a result of the team continuing to add more talent, so Deven played less minutes, and Jamie had an Pac12 POY season, Wiese was a star, and the Beavs made it to the final four. Sounds like a successful season to me. Gabriella Hanson was a similar story. A player who had a solid four years, and undoubtedly improved, but her stats did not change much during her career.

Corosdale is in the later category, on multiple teams. Her stats were flat or declining as the teams she was on as her career progressed increasingly needed offensive production. I think some players just peak early for some reason (I.e. teams figure out how to defend and they don’t adapt)

Unless we hear something tomorrow, I am thinking this is not legit. On pins and needles until then….

I believe it's legit. The problem is after saying yes to SR if she then called other coaches she'd talked to previously to let them know her decision and they said "how about if I make you the starter/30 mins a game?" or "how about we get you $50g's in NIL?". Portal has opened a can of worms I don't like to think about.

Portal has opened a can of worms I don't like to think about. In my humble opinion, if a prospective portal transfer (no matter how talented) went back on her word given to a Coach that she intended to transfer to his school, I would not ever want her to be on my team.
When things did not go well, or the competition was really good, you could rest assured this type of transfer would be gone or not meet the challenges that are bound to arise.
Old School thinking-yes!

This surprised me, Martha P. has springs, I've never noticed her getting off the floor that much before, new shoes?
She is #31 for those not "in the know"
