She shows a 1:3:1 zone-killing offensive game skillset in that highlight reel!

Bea would definitely be one of my favorite choices remaining. If her and the Beavs are talking, there is no evidence I've seen on social media. Her and Aleah are friends on Instagram, but I think that goes back to the High School/AAU days. Bea isn't that tall, but she plays bigger than her height, and is a great rebounder. Oregon State is definitely the closest Big 5 school to her home. I think she could get minutes at the 3/4 positions, though she may not get the minutes she wants at Oregon State.
beaverwbb fan, has mentioned Kelsey Rees (Utah). No real social media hints there either except her and Deven being friends. That could have some legs as I would expect Deven would be her main coach with the Beavs.

I really hope the possible newcomer is a forward/post. Bea is clearly talented, but adding another guard to this roster doesn’t do it for me, especially considering how thin we are in the front court. Although I’m sure SR and the rest of the staff are on top of what we do and don’t need..

Unless it's a complete shocker, there is no portal transfer left that is some automatic difference maker.

I really don't think it is Bea that beav74 is talking about, but if she played for the Beavs, I don't think we would consider her a guard. I would expect to see her at the 3 and 4 spot. She scored 25 points with 10 rebounds against Utah last year, and was 19 and 7 against Cal. I'd take that over most of the bigs I still see out there. She averaged twice as many rebounds as anyone else on her team. Saying that, I think this addition is likely a player who can play the 4/5, even though the Beavs have already picked up a backup for the 5 spot.

One of Gravy trains low level assistants is also just snooping around her.Not sure if it means a thing though.

I heard from someone inside the program yesterday. It is Kelsey Rees from Utah.
I think this is a great addition. Added some experience at the 4/5 to back up Beers and Gardiner

Looking a little more a Rees…
She is a Junior with 2 years left to play
6 foot 5 inches
Plays the 4/5
Averaged 19 minutes her sophomore year Averaged just 12 minutes her sophomore year
From Australia
Seems to be a solid defender and a high character player/person Definitely a Rueck type of player

While we wait.... I know Pili was a lot of the reason Rees didn't play as much (thanks to Norm for pointing that out), someone else they have, I was unaware of until now, Nene Sow, 6'8" from Belgium is planning on playing this year, red-shirted last season. utahutes.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/n-n-sow/13956If the rumors are wrong, well, now you know some fun facts about Utah.
