None of those made it anywhere close to an Elite 8. Keep trying. The original "change the target" guy and obvious mentor (or being copied) by a newer poster. "...whose teams have stumbled into single season success." Didn't see the OP state a baseline for success. But, as I included in my list, there's always the guy "pooping" to try and save face! Who could have guessed it'd be you? I said “the guy who took us to the Elite8” Maybe if you put your skullcap on, you could read the post. Did you complete your probation so you could come back? You weren’t missed.

That was your response to his initial post, "you know who are coach is". But, keep trying. Your inane defense mechanisms are hilarious. A no... just chose public comments for a couple guys who routinely toss out BS false arguments. And... really target #3 changed or I guess deflected could be... who really went all asshole? Lol.

Tinkle's coached teams to five different NCAA tournaments. Maybe he's not great, but he certainly had more than one successful season, both at Montana and at Oregon State.

I'm still trying to figure out how a UNC coach was given as an example of a coach that stumbled into a single year success... they've been in 29 NCAA tournaments since 1990.
Heck, Anderson may have had limited success here but didn't stumble into it, he inherited one of the winningest teams in NCAA history.
Those situations are nothing like the one Tinkle came into.

KC really has a legit chance to take a big step next year. In fact I'll be really disappointed if he isn't a nice contributor for 20-25 minutes every game. He has real potential. If he works hard this off season and stays healthy, there shouldn't be anything stopping him

Found the slam. www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/35579430Do that from time to time, add in being able to catch and convert a backdoor feed, add a little jump hook (which it seems like he's already starting to develop) and be able to dump off assists when covered tightly and you have a pretty darned serviceable center. I think 4 or 5 additional wins this next season could come with just some off season development of existing players. 8 or 9 additional wins will take either more years (I think KC will become quite serviceable in a couple seasons, maybe sooner) or new blood. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new bigs coming in can compete for some minutes. That video also shows why Grant makes my all-league enthusiasm team. Nice find! There's some quickness there, caught the ASU defender off guard. We'll see more of that in the coming season. Defender was former Beaver Big, Warren Washinton, I believe

One thing I "think I noticed", could be just wishful thinking, was his ball handling may have improved to a degree over the course of the season... not quite as many bobbles on receiving passes or rebounds, not quite as many traveling calls on his first steps when he was trying to drive around someone.
It just seemed to me he was a bit more controlled and learning. I hope that's the case and not just a wishful projection.

If he got serious about basketball and didn't come into next season as a fat tub of goo..., otherwise he'll get passed by the two big freshmen next year.

If he got serious about basketball and didn't come into next season as a fat tub of goo..., otherwise he'll get passed by the two big freshmen next year. He looked noticeably different later in the season compared to early in the season. Even the announcers noticed it and said he'd been working out on the side. He's obviously been working on his game. He didn't start playing ball until the 9th or 10th grade, he's making progress.
