If Zach had decided to do a 5th year the team would have won a few more games that season. Not sure his presence would have settled down the crap that was apparently going on at practice and in the locker room, but it would have helped a great deal in close games.
He was the favorite player on the team for both myself and my wife. Great defensive positioning, and I really like guys who can take a charge.

The shots that he hit in the Pac12 tournament run and the NCAA run fueled a lot of those wins! Deserves all the accolades!

Starters...
G...Pope G... portal player F...Rataj F...Taylor F/C...Juco
Coach Tinkle mentioned osu was looking at the juco ranks at players a couple weeks ago,and the portal is always an option. I wonder if Choi,Rochelin and Wright will be part of the future due to injuries and Wright was 2-31 from 3 point range. Another front court addition and 3 point shooter would be an upgrade with K.C. and Akkano off the bench.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Mars can do. Next year's starting 5 is probably already on the roster. Pope/Krass Wright/Rochelin Taylor Jr/Stephens Bilodeau/Rataj Ibekwe/Marial I think there's still room on this team for another 5 who can contribute. Ibekwe will take time. Who knows about Marial, but the odds are long for a big man with a history of injuries. He also looked pretty raw in the little bit of action he saw. Have to bring in another rebounder/rim protector IMO. Also, this team has to, must figure out a way to score points by next season. One way or another, because there was way too many stretches of scoreless basketball this season. Mars, from the limited video we have on him, could be a game changer if healthy and capable of playing inside at this level. He looks like he can move well AND has ball passing skills. If he can play inside at this level then we'll find out if our coaching staff can put together a coherent offensive scheme to utilize a big man that can handle the ball. We really didn't have a big inside offensive threat this season, having one potentially takes a bunch of pressure off the perimeter and also could free up guys like Bilodeau and Rataj to be able to operate closer in as well. I think he's played all of 16-18 games in high school and other than a mention of his being one of the leaders on his club team there's not a lot to go on. I'm looking forward to seeing him.
