Remember when a top three finish was the expectation and competing for the pac championship? This sure has changed. That expectation hasn't changed for me. Once Rueck started giving minutes to our freshman class this past season, my expectations rose. All 5 of the freshman class had good moments. If our coaches can find the right groove for TvO, our team will perform. I like who we have at all positions, including PG. And we now have Aleah, which is the best recruit OSU secured this spring. Aleah will have our PGs playing well next season. Who are the PG?

Given that definition any number of players on the current team could fill that role. By this time in their career most guards can handle the ball well enough to serve this role.

The problem as I see it we didn't have a point guard last year and unless a true freshman matures really quickly we have the same issue this next year.

I disagree. Martha can handle the PG position if given the opportunity--which I believe she will get that opportunity. We have other candidates including the 2 incoming freshmen. But Martha is a pure PG, and I believe is ready.

Martha was on the bench because we had a veteran transfer point guard, so that was that. Now that veteran is gone. I really believe that TVO's healthy return will say a lot about Martha's success as a PG. Having an off guard who can score at will (as we have seen in the past from a healthy TVO) takes the scoring pressure of Martha, and she has already shown she can get the ball up court and set up the offense.

D minus. But you keep thinking that Scott has put together a conference contender for next year. So explain why based on no real point guard as if it does not matter. Both teams will be dumpster fires.

Please define dumpster fire. Can a team be a dumpster fire and make the NCAA tournament? How about the NIT? Is every team that has a losing record a dumpster fire. I just want to know what a dumpster fire looks like in terms of wins and losses, or is this dumpster fire based on something completely different?

I don't think you realize how far the teams have fallen from the Weise years. This current team would get blown off the court by 20 plus points from those great teams. Why do people lower the bar so much or did they just forget history and how competitive those teams were?

Especially unhappy that everyone else doesn’t share your acute sense of unhappiness. Things are tough all over.
