When should Mitch think about batting Turley after Donkey? Do you think it would help Donkey get some good pitches?Just an idea. Hitting anyone before Turley would result in them getting great pitches. Why Donkey?

Cedillo and Krieg are the only regulars who haven't gone yard this season. I have no idea when we last had this many HR in the books going into conference play. 2018 10 2019 13 2021 9 2022 10 2023 20?!?!

Fun fact: 12 games into 2018, Larnach sat at five home runs, and Rutschman sat at 0. Rutschman protected Larnach, not the other way around. Donkey (or somebody better?) should be protecting Turley, not the other way around.

That was in 16 games, though. 2001. 36. That was in 24 games, though.
I believe that it is a 12-game record since the North-South merger.

Big Jim Wilson hit 21 home runs in 1982. The rest of the team hit 19 combined. In the first 12 games, Jim Wilson hit four home runs. Wilson hit two in his 13th game to bring his total to six home runs. Wilson did not really take off until conference play started. But it should be pointed out that four of those conference teams were Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Portland, and Portland State, and Oregon State played each of those teams four times. I doubt that the rest of the team hit 14 of their combined 19 home runs in the first 12 games.
