Much improved over the last four games? We got steamrolled by 10th place Stanford and squeaked out a win to 3 win cal. Stanford steamrolled Utah yesterday. They have a lot more talent than their 10th place finish. But yes, we have a long ways to go. |

They have a lot more talent than their 10th place finish. But yes, we have a long ways to go. Oregon State is really hit and miss. And Stanford is even more hit and miss. When the Cardinal are on, they are unbeatable. Stanford had a 70.6% effective field goal percentage against Oregon State in Corvallis. 70.6%! That's their highest effective shooting percentage since the February 3, 2018 game against Oregon, more than five years ago. The Cardinal's second-best shooting game this year was 70.4% against Arizona in an 88-79 win. That is Arizona and Stanford's only meeting this year, and Stanford plays Arizona next in Vegas. Stanford is 7-0 each game that they had an effective field goal percentage of 56.3%. One game that they lost, they shot 56.3%, and California out-Stanforded Stanford and shot 74.1% in Berkeley. |

The Stanford Arizona game tonight could be a game to watch. Stanford beat #4 Arizona at Maples Pavilion 26 days ago. Plus, Stanford-Arizona is a rematch of last year's quarterfinal game, which was the Wildcats' narrowest win en route to a Pac-12 Championship. |
