My dad, a longtime season ticket holder passed away this evening. It was my privilege to spend many Saturday afternoons/evenings at Parker/Reser stadium. I believe it was row 42 of the old bleachers. We saw Alvin White get sacked, Nolan Cromwell run for a bajillion yards, the civil war in a monsoon, and a series of fiascos in general. But,.. we were together when the run of futility was erased with the win over Cal and shared the stadium when the possum ran wild!! I hope Beaver nation joins me in toasting him farewell, much as we shared shots when the Beavers scored a touchdown!!

I'm sorry for your loss, and happy at the same time for your wonderful memories that will always grow fonder. Lost my father 2+ years ago and almost everyday something reminds me of both my sorrow and cherished memories. May you be as fortunate...
Here's to him and your family

Nice remembrance of your father. It's a great thing, Beaver Sports, that brings us together and provides lifelong memories.

Condolences. Hold on to those memories with your father.
My dad took me to my first Beaver Football game sometime in the early 70's and we later had season tickets together in the late 90's. One of my fondest memories is the elation we shared after the '98 Civil War. This will be our third season with out him.

Welcome (unfortunately) to the club. Hopefully you have another generation or two of Beavers in your future to share the legacy with.

I'm so sorry. I like to bury my head on the sand and pretend my parents are immortal, the thought of losing them someday is too much. You have my prayers.
