I’d really like to see all this portal transfer talk come to a halt. Because….I don’t think anyone is going anywhere!!! I repeat…NO ONE is leaving. This is a very tight group of ladies that see a very bright future!! Besides…who wants to give up a trip to Italy!

To the best of my recollection his record is 100% correct.

Yeah, I'm just saying fans are going to talk about it every year... grayman,
On a positive note, as I have shared in an earlier post, it is not a given that a team will lose players to the portal each year.
The Gonzaga women's team has, to my knowledge, not lost a single player to the portal since it began.
Go Beavs!
P.S. I liked the idea of starting up a NIL group for the team that was properly organized and split equally between all the players on the team.

Gonzaga is the best team in a weak league, and a school where basketball is the absolute king and queen. No schools like that in the Pac-12 or any P5 conference. They are the rare exception.

Off the top of my head, Louise Forsythe transferred to Idaho last year. Watched her play against Holsinger’s squad last year.

Thank you for your insightful and accurate post.
You state "They are the rare exception" to my statement that the Zags have not lost anyone to the transfer portal. You are correct sir!
I would counter by stating that the amount and quality of players Oregon State lost to the portal last year was also "a rare exception" unfortunately in a different direction!
Go Beavs!

Thank you for correcting me!
That has been my only mistake since the one my wife told me about a 1/2 hour after I posted the text.(grin)

Of course it's possible we have a portal player, but as of now, with how close these ladies are, there is no scuttlebutt of players dissatisfied and on the way out. He is the one I would trust if anyone here for honest truthful information.

USC has lost just as much, if not more, talent than we have over the past 3-4 years, between grad transfers and the portal. Oregon has also lost a staggering number of top-level recruits. I do not follow WBB close enough to know what happens at most schools, but I do know Maryland has also lost gobs of talent, as did Syracuse, which lost almost its entire team one year. And which player that we lost from last year has gone on to stardom elsewhere? They all seem to be performing at the level they did at OSU, or even worse, and one is having trouble staying healthy, just as happened here with regularity.
