I have HIGHER expectations for the MEN’S team in conference than the WOMEN’S team. When (how, why) , in hell did THAT happen?

I have HIGHER expectations for the MEN’S team in conference than the WOMEN’S team. When (how, why) , in hell did THAT happen? Probably partly to due with pre season expectations. Women have been good for a while and were expected to be decent this season. Men were coming off a 3 win season and most people just wanted to see progress and hope with a young team as the season went along. Was not really any set number of wins for them Men's team to achieve |

Was not really any set number of wins for them Men's team to achieve It speaks much more to how poorly Wbb has gone rather than mbb exceeding expectations. But it is difficult to imagine the men’s program having players as highly rated as what we have on the Wbb roster and then not making the tourney. Gill is really having an uninspiring year across the board. |

But it is difficult to imagine the men’s program having players as highly rated as what we have on the Wbb roster and then not making the tourney. Gill is really having an uninspiring year across the board.The gymnasts are doing pretty well. Otherwise, yeah, not a ton of success. Women's basketball and wrestling both seem to be down. Men's basketball and volleyball are on an upswing, but men's basketball is on more of an upswing than volleyball. Men's basketball may be the indoor team at Oregon State most convincingly exceeding expectations at the moment. |
