Rawlings-Perfect Game has posted their Top-50 Prep teams for 2023. The Beavs have seven recruits playing on Top-50 teams this spring. Four of the five teams ranked are pre-season #1 in their respective state polls. The List:
Trent Caraway ('23) Plays SS for JSerra HS in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Serra is ranked #1 in California and #2 nationally. They were 25-10 last year and won the CIF Division I championship. Beaver recruit Tyler Gough (signed with the M's, pitched on the '23 team).
John Petrie ('25) and Ethan Porter ('25) play 1B and P/IF for Huntington Beach, CA. HS. The Oilers are ranked #2 in California and #6 nationally. They were 25-9 in 2022.
Anthony Marnell ('23) catches for Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas, NV. BG is ranked #1 in Nevada and #10 nationally. They were 35-9 in 2022.
Levi Jones ('23) plays 3B for Jesuit HS in Portland. Jesuit is ranked #1 in Oregon and #45 nationally. The Crusaders were 20-4 last year.
Mason Pike ('25) and Gage Thompson ('25) play SS and RHP/IF for Puyallup, WA. HS. The Vikings are ranked #1 in Washington and #47 nationally. They were 23-3 in 2022.
