Just saw where the move by Texas and Oklahoma to the sec has been delayed to 2025 from 2024. Has to do with Fox Sports and tv money.

So the Big XII will have 14 teams for a season? Will Cincinnati, BYU, Houston, and UCF have to delay their Big XII debut?

I was reading that it was weird that the Big 12 had not made an official announcement about a post-Oklahoma & Texas media rights deal. Maybe this is why? I worry that this is going to negatively impact the Pac-12 media rights negotiations.
Hopefully, though, this means that UCLA and USC are sticking around for another year? One can hope, at least..........

Let them scramble to schedule enough meaningful games to even be considered for a national ranking. As far as I'm concerned they would be welcome to write a 7 figure check for the privilege to play in Corvallis in 2024. 8 figures if the want the Beavers in LA.

USC hates playing Oregon State anyway.

I thought I heard Barnes or somebody associated with the conference that the remaining Pac-10 schools would not schedule OOC games against the bailers. I think it would be rather short-sighted to condemn the LA schools for leaving, and then turn right around and make their leaving easier financially by scheduling OOC games against them. UCLA's already gonna be paying Cal about $3 million a year, so they don't need to play them in anything. Stanford has more than enough money. Let the SoCal schools twist in the wind.
