I really hope the home losses to the Washington schools don’t come back to haunt us. This team is very talented even with a couple missing pieces.

Would love to have had AJ in the 4th Q instead of Noelle, who uninvolved all night. Get ‘em Sunday. Mannen was huge in shutting down their perimeter game. She was not "uninvolved" at all. Jump was 1/7 from 3. 5 pts total. That was Mannen’s assignment. She gets an A for that work. |

The only thing that OSU did that bothered me was not being able to get the ball in to get a final shot. Other than that, I don't think they could have played a better game. They should be proud (but they still have to take care of business against Cal).

The Beav's are still trying to figure out how to play together. Defense/switches is still a work in progress. And where/how to get Timea into the offense? They are still putting it all together. The anticipation is whether they will do it in time to make the Tournament?

We let Jones get away with to much down the stretch and we got cold last couple of minutes.hell of a game by Benyu and Mit.litle margin for losses or we don't go dancing

Nah...the team isn't going to see this as a moral victory, but they will certainly see it as evidence of significant improvement in a very short time. Gardiner's ability to acclimate to the college game so quickly and the fact that she's obviously a very good player has made an enormous impact on the team and is a big reason for the improvement. They will win most of their remaining games if they play even relatively close to the level they played tonight. And they will be extremely dangerous in the Pac-12 tourney as well. |

Rueck in pregame interview says that when Stanford has lost they’ve been held to <60. He thinks that Beavs will have to do the same to have a chance at a W. Hey, apparently this Rueck guy may know a little bit. Nice hang tough game by the Beavs. We should still expect a step or two forward and a step or two back from this team. Cal game is likely a must win to even have a shot at the NIT. Keep up the progress. Good young talent on this team and it will be fun to watch them grow. Go Beavs! |
