It sure sets up nicely....though that opener in Pullman is tricky.

I like the schedule. Better than the (USC, at Utah) conference games OSU opened up with in 2022. I like where the BYE is at. Gives OSU a break before the stretch run. I agree, Pullman always a tough place to play. Just ask the Ucks and Utah. They were both lucky to get out of there with wins last season.

I like it!
Ok, what road games are you thinking of attending?
I'm interested in the San Jose State game. Within reasonable driving distance, first game of the year, why not.
I've never been to Pullman, but that is my wife's Birthday. I'm guessing she doesn't want a romantic trip to Pullman for her birthday but I will ask.
I'm also thinking going to Colorado would be fun. I used to like Deion but he is rubbing me the wrong way as a Pac 12 coach... just seems to arrogant and I think he will learn how tuff the Pac is real quick.
By that time of the year he might be more humble.
Thoughts?

Anyone who lives in the Bay Area will get a chance at 2 OSU road games in the first six weeks of season as they open at San Jose State on Sept 2 and play at California on October 7

Boulder is awesome, just not in November . Cal is fun but I would not stay near the stadium. stay in a nicer part of town and find a transit station to get to the game. the view back across campus to the bay is worth it. WSU was a good trip, stayed in Clarkson/lewiston area. most friendly fans at any away game I've been to. Arizona would feel good that time of year. Tucson is a fun town, lots of good restaurants. sweet tailgating setup on the lawn.

Too bad the AD's didn't give the LA schools a true farewell tour and schedule all of their games on the road. They need to get used to travel anyway right?
Go Beavs!!

WSU that early is nice, the Palouse hills in full splendor. It's probably Homecoming or Dad's weekend though so hotel rooms impossible to find. Idaho is also at home that weekend, so forget the University Inn.

Seems perfect to me.

For those planning on Pullman get your hotel now you can always cancel. Best western in Clarkston has decent prices.

Early thoughts on the schedule:
I don't like Wazzu in that spot. Oregon State plays San Diego State, and Wazzu plays Northern Colorado. The Cougs basically get two weekends to rest up and plan against the Beavs. That could be a tough early test.
Utah gets UCLA before coming to Corvallis on the short week. That sets up about as well as you could hope. Friday games are ugly but at least it is in Corvallis.
Cal get Arizona State the weekend before, and Oregon State gets Utah. At least the Beavs get a long week the week before.
That UCLA game could be ugly. The Bruins get their bye in week 5 and then a home game against Wazzu. That leaves a very tired Oregon State facing off against a very well-rested UCLA. That could be very bad.
Oregon State has to travel to Tucson the weekend after the bye. Hopefully, it will be cool in Tucson by then.
Boulder in early November. That could be...........dicey. Hopefully, it's good weather. Colorado is coming off a bye and a road trip to the Rose Bowl. Hopefully, the Buffs will be gassed.
Oregon State plays Stanford three weeks off Oregon State's bye. That is five weeks off of Stanford's bye. In fact, Oregon State play three of the teams with the third-earliest bye one after the other to end the season: Stanford, Washington, and Oregon all have the same bye, two weekends before Oregon State's bye. That tends to set up better for Oregon State to close out the last three games. I should mention that Stanford has a murderers' row of UCLA, Washington, and @ Wazzu leading up to the Oregon State game. Hopefully, the Cardinal have nothing left.
Washington plays at the Coliseum and home against Utah in the two weekends before the trip to Corvallis. That sets up very well for Oregon State.
The road trip to Eugene is on a short week, which sucks. And Oregon is coming off a road trip to Tempe. Hopefully, Washington, Utah, and USC take a bunch of the steam out of Oregon heading into the Great Oregon Civil War.

A game in Boulder is on my bucket list and they could be a much improved team. Tune the turnover chainsaws' carb for altitude and let's go fill our buffalo tags.

Wow...Utah plays Florida and Baylor...plus the 5 top Pac 12 schools not named Utah. Oregons schedule is favorable. So is ours. Pissed off Pac 12 didn't bring the hammer down on USC and UCLA. Will be fun to see what damage UC and AZ wrought this year.
