When will the roster online be updated to reflect the 2023 roster? We’re a month plus a day away from the first game and it takes me longer to learn the players.

I would venture a wild guess that they probably want to start practices and tryouts/evaluations before they decide who makes the roster.

I would venture a wild guess that they probably want to start practices and tryouts/evaluations before they decide who makes the roster. I mean, they've been practicing and evaluating all year. Everybody else in the conference has released their roster already and last year, we released it on, I think, January 6th.
So, this is unusual.
Must have a lot of really tough cuts to make this year. I guess that's a good thing.

Not sure what Coach Canham's timetable is but didn't PC used to make the roster cuts in time to allow kids to find a new home and transfer in time for winter term or 2nd semester enrollment at their new destination?
If you often visit other team's baseball sites, you will discover putting out information on their baseball team and program is not an OSU strong point.

"Everybody else...has released" Just for fun I took a look at the WSU BB website (mostly because of two former Beavs). Their posted "roster" is titled "Fall Roster" and has 42 players on it... ..That might change by early February (?) - so I'm not convinced that all other PAC-12 teams have final (or meaningful) 2023 rosters posted.

Not that I care about other teams, but I took a look and both UW and UCLA have their rosters up. That's as far as I looked, so it's a very small sample size. (Edit: add U of O, UA, ASU, USC, Stanford and Cal to the list of schools with their '23 roster up. Pretty much everybody.) But that's not my point in asking the question. I don't care what other teams do; I only care about learning the Beaver players for this upcoming year. I just wanted to know what to expect...if there is a certain timeframe for the release each year that I haven't taken note of.

On the other hand, that's one of another great joys of Surprise - you can grab a roster sheet on your way into the Stadium and find out who's on your team an hour before game time.

This is always the case, there's always some sort of secrecy for whatever reason.
Same goes for when they post the roster and trying to figure out the final cuts.

Beaver fans are the greatest! They are informed, loyal and they show up. Opposing coaches have often commented on that fact.
Beaver fans like information about their team, but months go by and . . . . crickets. "why can't they throw us a bone every now and then?"
Maybe the fans need to form a special council and investigate these coaches on the roster issue. "What did they know and when did they know it?"

It seems pretty bush league to still have the '22 roster up. It feels like the kind of thing a university would do that doesn't care about baseball.

Is it possible that the last few Roster spots are still being decided?
Potential updates on injuries that are healing, or needing to see them hit or field again to make the final decision?
I don't have inside info... I'm just wondering at a program where the last few spots are being decided you may want to take as much time as you can before telling the kids who don't make it they are out for the next year.
By observation it seems like there are 4-5 guys left off the Roster each year who wanted to be on the roster and were fighting for a spot during Fall Ball.
Just wondering.
