I grew up a San Diego Charger fan, and I’m rooting for the Jags. The chargers are playing like cowards in the second half. Herbert (a good kid, though a duck) deserves better. Fvck dean spanos. POS. I watched John Hadl, Paul Lowe (OSU) and Lance Alworth play in Balboa stadium as a child. This team lacks SOUL.

Wow, I ragged on Lawrence but he really showed me something there.
Herbert's used to disappointment. He attended Oregon.

Winning the Rose Bowl and being selected the MVP of the game in his final season at Oregon was certainly a huge disappointment I am sure ... plus all the records he has broken so far in the NFL. Not really sure that is a road you really want to be traveling down right now ...

I also remember Tristan Gebbia outplaying Herbert in the 2019 Civil War but just not quite having enough pieces to pull off the upset. The regular season ended, and I remember nothing else from 2019.

He's well versed in epic meltdowns from his time at uo. Remind me what NFL records Herbie has broken? lol

I knew you going to come back with a list like this. Rookie records I can understand but all the other 2nd and 3rd year stuff is a bunch of inconsequential stat nonsense made up by football geeks and talking heads to fill airtime and webpages.

NFL season records are also sort of meaningless since the season has gone from 14 to 16 to 17 games in the past 15 years or so, a huge increase. Give OJ three more games in 1973 and he might have had 2,503 yards.

I know we hate the Ducks and all, rightly so, but if you can’t admit that Herbert is a great talent, you either don’t understand the game or you’re lying to yourself. And others.

He's an above-average QB now, has the potential to be a great one. He's not great yet. Great ones win playoff games, especially when they're spotted 27 points. Josh Allen had three playoff wins and had taken his team to the AFC championship in three seasons. Mahomes had six playoff wins, a Super Bowl win and a Super Bowl loss in his first three seasons. That's what great ones do. By all accounts, he's a great kid, and that counts for a lot too. But he's still a Duck and open to be poked fun at.

Give OJ three more games in 1973 and he might have had 2,503 yards. To be fair, the 16 game season era lasted 43 seasons, from 1978-2020. Not sure where your 15 year time frame came from. The valid point is, 2 of Herbert’s 3 seasons have been 17 gamers.
