I think that's a leftover joke from when he was a freshman at OSU and someone got a little too excited about what they saw in 3 vs. 3s at a spring game or fall scrimmage. I'm sure the Montana coaching staff will appreciate the input they'll get from Vidlak's dad.

I heard he was very critical of Lindgren's coaching and how his kid was "handled" here.

There’s no rule against FCS players (or even DIII players) getting Heisman votes, it just doesn’t happen that often. Also, the Walter Payton award is for the best FCS Offensive Player.

Now that you say that I remember Gordie Lockbaum, awesome 2 way player from Holy Cross getting a run at the Heisman.

Now that you say that I remember Gordie Lockbaum, awesome 2 way player from Holy Cross getting a run at the Heisman. I thought of him as the 1980's Massachusetts Jackhammer. But I think Colletto is much bigger guy.
