Is now at University of Colorado and helped them beat UTAH by scoring 15 points in the paint last nite. Big strong looking low post with some nice low post moves. Rueck didn't probably anticipate loosing all his inside players prematurely? Would probably recruited this gal she is bigger than Reagan but cut in the same mold. This hurts. Kinda.

She started out at Arizona. When she was in high school, Hoopgurlz had her ranked #38 in the country. Then they changed whoever was doing the ranking for them, and she dropped to #100.

Nice to see Vonleh proving Judge Smails wrong. She had a couple of productive games against weaker opponents for Arizona last season, but it's nice to see it translating to the PAC-12 for Colorado.
Not sure if Rueck went after her in the portal or not, but I think a true PF would have been more useful than a post like Vonleh.

Any relation to former Blazer scrub Noah Vonleh? I found this tidbit on the internet from a few years ago........"Vonleh is the youngest sister of Noah Vonleh, the ninth overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Noah Vonleh participated in USA Basketball events when he was younger and was able to advise his sister on what to expect from coaches and fellow players and how to succeed. She also has an older sister, Samnell, who played NCAA Division II basketball at the University of Bridgeport. “Both of them just told me to play how I normally play,” Aaronette Vonleh said. “Don’t focus on the mistakes, just focus on what I can do after that and just leave it all out on the floor.” Vonleh is uncommonly good for a player going into her junior year in high school. She is 6-foot-3 and can be dominant in the post. ESPN HoopGurlz ranked her the No. 1 center in the nation in the 2021 class and the No. 13 player overall in that recruiting year."
