Is there a certain number of games that Timea could play in this year and still be eligible for 4 more years? Also do you have to be injured to be granted the "red shirt" year even if you have only played in the maximum or less games that would qualify you for the "red shirt" year?

1. Injury/Illness occurs in the first half of the season. Incapacity must be for the remainder of the
season. Student-athlete cannot be cleared for participation prior to the season’s end.
2. In team sports, student-athlete cannot have participated in more than 3 contests OR more than
30% of competitions, whichever number is greater.
3. In individual sports, student-athlete cannot have participated in more than 30% of maximum
permissible dates of competition as set in Bylaw 17.
*Please note that calculations of these percentages vary based on sport and declaration of seasons.

Isn't there a rule about how you can't play after a certain % of the season has passed and still get a red-shirt?
