To be clear, I was joking about her not saying "Go Beavs", as a rule, only 1 or 2 players do, Rueck does inconsistently, Syd did it, Mik did it I think, and most others did not, including Aleah, etc. etc. EAch year more players are picking up on it. I don't know if they have a meeting and decide who is the designated one (also a joke) , but it means nothing ! Why did they make that a rule that only one or two plays can say it. Seems to be a silly rule. |

Seems to be a silly rule. I'm going to assume you were being funny, and some advice, don't' expect us to read your mind and know that, add an emoticon or something. This happens a lot on this board, folks forget it is written, not spoken, no way to know what you are thinking. I made that mistake recently and didn't notice the smiley face someone added which should have been enough. I didn't think I need to do this but here ya go...I shortened the phrase like many folks do, "As a rule of thumb", What does the phrase rule of thumb mean? noun phrase 1. : a method of procedure based on experience and common sense. : a general principle regarded as roughly correct but not intended to be scientifically accurate. |
