Dykes is a better coach than I thought. Didn't impress much while at Cal but maybe that is a tough job to impress at.
He's got TCU playing well but Michigan is starting to make it interesting.

Dykes was a mis-match in Berkely. I remember thinking...."WHAT?" "Cal hired WHO?" Like in real estate: Location, location, location is EVERYTHING.

Dykes is a better coach than I thought. Didn't impress much while at Cal but maybe that is a tough job to impress at. He's got TCU playing well but Michigan is starting to make it interesting. Dykes has changed his offense and coaching style since he was at Cal. While he still runs some air raid components, his O is much more run focused than it was at Cal. He also had little focus on D when he was at Cal. He’s brought in a D Coordinator to make his D much more important than it was at Cal. He has adapted well. |
