I thought they should have tried a 58 yard field goal instead of that long Hail Mary with 1 second left.

I thought they should have tried a 58 yard field goal instead of that long Hail Mary with 1 second left. QB threw a hell of a pass, though. Just too many Ducks sitting right there waiting patiently for it while receivers were still coming onto the site. |

I wanted Carolina to win, but knew Oregon was gonna score on that last drive so I wasn't too bummed about it. At some point, Carolina was gonna Carolina and revert to a bad defensive team.
Nix actually seems like a decent fellow and he put up with a lot of stupid s%#t from Auburn fans, so good for him.
We beat them with the biggest CW comeback in history, broke their hearts and kept them out of the Pac-12 championship game. We beat an SEC team by four TDs in our bowl game. That's more than enough for me.

Both teams had 5 penalties, so there’s that. If we want to pick on the Ducks the #1 target should be the coaches game plan after half. Bucky Irving was unstoppable in the 1st half, gaining 134 yds on 11 carries! But he only got 2 more handoffs in the 2nd half! Nix was hardly effective, yet they tried to force it with him the whole second half. They were fortunate to win. Even doinked the last extra point off and through the uprights! |
