I wonder how his bat will play there, big RF. Citi Field was perfect for him.

Pretty good landing spot. Giants only had 2 outfielders get over 300 at-bats last year. Should be plenty of opportunities to rebuild his career, also Michael has an opt out so if he had a big year he can hit the lottery after year one.

I know what you’re saying, but 2 years 36 million sounds like hitting the lottery already.

I could live on that for a while! Until you need medical attention. Then you’ll still go in debt.

Unlike the NFL, all MLB contracts are guaranteed.

This is great news! I had feared walking away from the Mets offer was going to be the type of money he was never going to see again. Will be interesting to see what the change in shift rule does to his production at plate. Biggest downside I see is paying California income tax, but that's a high class problem to have.

Great to have him back on the west coast! I really hope he can have a healthy year. Definitely going to make a trip down to the bay to watch him play.

2 years $36 million is a decent soft landing for Conforto....considering his recent injury problem....and, that 1-1/2 years ago he turned down an extension offer (5-6 years?) from the Mets .... ....the contract offer was “in the $100 million range” and “would have gone to about $120MM.”
Looking ahead: it's great that he is on the West Coast. I hope that he TEARS IT UP! - and that 2023 springboards him into a fantastic second half of this MLB career. As a bonus to West Coasters, instead of Conforto being in Florida come February, he'll be in Scottsdale for Spring Training in late February (beginning 2/25) - not long after Beavs exit Surprise. Maybe he'll even be a face-in-the-crowd at Surprise Stadium. Unfortunately the only regular season 2023 meeting between Giants and Mariners is NOT in Seattle this season (July 3-4-5, Mariners at SF).
