Too bad Harold is a Duck fan. Harold is an OSU baseball fan. Of course he's an Oregon football fan, his brother played there.

Harold is an OSU baseball fan. Of course he's an Oregon football fan, his brother played there. So a front runner. He's been a Beaver baseball fan since the Jack Riley era, since Riley was like a second father to him. Oregon football sucked when his brother played there. And he played for the Mariners for most of his MLB career. I'd say that makes him the polar opposite of a front runner. But keep running down a good dude who goes out of his way to promote OSU baseball on a national platform.

Harold also worked the Christmas break Pat Casey camp when my son attended it back in 97-98.

When Harold was in fourth grade--and probably other years--he would come around Gill during basketball practice. The managers would let him shoot baskets at one of the side hoops. He would talk about his older brothers, Don, Ron, and Larry. He had great personality even at that age.

Harold only ever talks Oregon Ducks football, and that's on a baseball show. The only time he ever promoted Beaver baseball was when Canham was on a few weeks ago, he's had a different college coach on every day he's been on. He begs them all to send gear. Our coach came through and sent some in. That's the only time he's ever promoted our school that I've seen.

He's talked up Adley and the other MLB Beavers on numerous occasions. And he always mentions Oregon State on Baseball Tonight when one of our alums does something in the highlights. I don't know Harold well, but am acquainted with him. He is a big Beaver baseball fan.
