I have tried saying the same. But some to think we can never ever do better. I dont even want tinkle fired necessarily, hire an offensive coach and give him the reins of the offense. |

Now OBF somebody is going to say since you haven't been a D1 coach you shouldn't have an opinion. Even Shane Denning at Timberhill teaches the 4th and 5th graders a couple basic plays. Tinkles teams got nothing but stand around and watch one guy iso. Oh and "Bad Turnover" they have that play down cold 😉 I like these players, and they are playing hard for the most part, i just wish they had the advantage of a, you know... Coach Yes, but Shane doesn’t practice what he preaches. He likes to jack up 30 foot threes every time I play against him. |

Wayne actually teaches decent offensive sets. His issue is actually getting the players to run them. |

I'm going to say this about Rataj, that was great D and a clean block on that last second layin after we squandered an opportunity at the end of the half.
I'll go not that far out on a limb and say he's going to be a good player for us if he sticks around.
I kept thinking he sort of reminds me of a freshman AC Green more than just about any other guy Ive seen come through since. Thought it kind of stupid then I looked at their stats so far, in about 2/3rds of the average minutes he's averaging about 2/3rds the stats of AC's freshman year. It's early and he seems to be coming on, so maybe?

I am glad to see the beavs building a small lead to begin the second half. However, every single point so far has been scored on a broken play, fast break, or iso. If we have an assists they are gifts from the official scorer.
I am happy to win ugly, defense to make offense games... But this is why we fo LONG stretch without a bucket EVERY game. No offensive plays to manufacture easy looks. EVERYTHING we do on offense is HARD.
Denver conversely runs a motion offense with multiple screens, most of their points are layups or in the paint.

An ugly win is still a win, way to go Beavs!
I give credit to the beaver players, they played hard and a couple of good individual efforts down the stretch (Krass!) Won it!
Other than recruiting that win had nothing to do with the coaches though.
