Ann and Nancy Wilson and their band went into the WSU broadcasting station studio and recorded their concert set.
Go straight to 21:00 for their performance of “Crazy on You”. Annie sure could raise the rafters with that voice.
No post-production, no overdubs, no auto-tune. Just a tight rock and roll band having a great time in front of a couple dozen crew and spectators, belting it out.

I had heard about this from old timers at Wazzu, but I didn’t know there was a recording up. Thanks!

Awesome. Ann Wilson...those pipes! Huge fan.
By the way...go to 20:07 in the video to make sure you see/hear Nancy Wilson's intro guitar.
Yes, Virginia, there are great female guitarists.
But what the hell is the bass player wearing?

I know they played Gill coliseum back in the 1970's I saw them. Opening act was the eminently forgettable Jay Ferguson (Thunder Island). They used that old concert shell that used to be suspended from the Gill rafters. Thankfully in some landfill now.

That sounds like a threat 🤔 It was a cheesy song too. By the infamous Mr Jay Ferguson. Peaking at #31 on the Billboard Top 100 in 1979. No, I’m not going to post a video link.

My high school girlfriend grew up just a couple house down from the Wilson's. I was able to see them several times back then. Always had free tickets waiting at will call. The best time was had when they would practice in their garage, damn they were good.
