Thing about Vidlak is, he might have had a shot at becoming the starter after the Utah game had he been here. It'd be very ironic if he returns to become backup depth.

There is a zero percent chance that he comes back here. I kind of figured as much, it's still ironic that he may have blown his quickest opportunity to become a starter with his first transfer. In my opinion, if a kid wants out they better make that decision before hitting the portal and consider themselves done at their current school. |

Definitely need a portal kid. Who is our QB besides Ben? Chiles is 17 and won't be 18 until October. Throckmorton has never taken a snap. Injuries happen. 100% need a portal kid and the staff is going hard to get one I would look at Ethan ? Garbers...from UCLA. His stats are not bad in limited playing time at Washington and now at UCLA. With the Transfer from Kent State and the 5 ***** QB Chip ripped from the dux, it seems he would be in the Portal. His brother was at Cal. |

We recruited and offered Garbers out of high school. Maybe Jonathan/Lindgren still has a relationship/some rapport with him?
